Invoice Content: The invoice must be legible, from the supplier, itemized with the cost of each item, and include the supplier's name and address, as well as the buyer's name and address details. A pre-alert is required before any item is brought through customs in Jamaica. The Customer is responsible for providing the Company with all necessary documentation and information for customs pre-alert and clearance in a timely manner.
Timeliness: The Customer must provide all pre-alert documentation to the Company well in advance of the shipment's arrival in Jamaica to allow for pre-clearance procedures. Delays in providing these documents may lead to demurrage, detention charges, or storage fees, which will be the sole responsibility of the Customer.
Customs Duties and Taxes: The Customer is solely responsible for the payment of all applicable customs duties, taxes, fees, and charges assessed by the Jamaica Customs Agency. The Company will facilitate the clearance process, but the financial obligation remains with the Customer.
4. Packaging and Labeling
Proper Packaging: The Customer is responsible for adequately packaging all goods to withstand the rigors of transportation. The Company is not liable for damage to goods that are improperly packaged.
Accurate Labeling: All packages must be clearly and accurately labeled with the consignee's full name, address, contact number, and any other information required for delivery.

The Customer must adhere to all Jamaican laws and regulations regarding restricted and prohibited items. It is the Customer's responsibility to ascertain whether their goods require special permits, licenses, or are entirely prohibited from import or export.
The Company reserves the right to refuse to ship any item deemed prohibited or restricted by Jamaican law, international regulations, or the Company's internal policies. Any costs incurred due to the discovery of such items after acceptance will be borne by the Customer.
Details of the Company's liability limits and available insurance options can be provided upon request.
